According to the report, Allegri has already been presented with a pre-contract from the Blues.

Moreover, Calciomercato are keen to stress that  Roman Abramovich has signed off on Allegri taking over the job at Stamford Bridge. He’s the ‘number one’ choice.

The article stats that ‘Allegri wants to work for Chelsea’, while the Blues have determined that he’s a better candidate than possible alternatives like Jorge Sampaoli or Antonio Conte.

The report tails off by noting that Allegri should receive a salary of €4.5 million a season with the Blues.

It’s unclear from the report of the exact timing when everyone could be wrapped up. The 48-year-old is contracted to the Serie A giants until the 2017, but it’s intimated that the deal could happen this summer.

If that happens, could he bring Paul Pogba with his to west London?
