Super Eagles Crashes Out of the World Cup Despite Receiving $250,000

It is no longer news that Super Eagles of Nigeria were dumped out of Brazil 2014 world cup by France, with goals coming from the boots of Paul Pogba and Joseph Yobo (scoring an own on his 100th cap for the Nigerian side).

They should be leaving Brazil by 12pm tomorrow with all the Brazilian hair they have bought for their wags despite the controversy they made due to the bonus misunderstanding with the NFF.

My personal opinion is that money does not motivate African players especially the Super Eagles. They left with no choice but to leave Brazil despite collecting the hard earned dollars of GLO Tycoon, Otunba Mike Adenuga.

Remember, it was reported that the Minister for Sports and Chairman, National Sports Commission (NSC) Dr. Tammy Danagogo over the weekend revealed that billionaire businessman Otunba Mike Adenuga gave him $250,000 to give to the Super Eagles in Brazil to encourage them to beat France today, promising to do more if they win and advance to the quarter-final stage.

According to Danagogo, who has since presented the money to the team, Mike Adenuga, while presenting the money to him said;
"This is a token and if the team goes ahead and shock the world, I will join Mr President to shock the team.”
According to former Super Eagles player Taribo West and John Fashanu after the first half, the Super Eagles gave an impressive performance. Well, I did not wait for the match to finish to hear their full match analysis. IMO, we had a bad tournament and I was only impressed by the goal keeper but he fall my hand today.
What is your opinion about the team in Brazil?
