Foremost Nigerian music star 2Face Idibia aka 2Baba was joined by his wife Annie White and Ghanaian songstress Lola Rae at the uptown Kiza Lounge on Saturday night as he celebrated his 40th birthday.
The singer, popularly known across Africa for his African Queen hit, was showered with happy birthday wishes as drinks poured freely on a night that saw local celebrities make guest appearances at the uptown entertainment spot.
Just like Lola Rae, 2Face is among continental celebrities who have been in Nairobi this past week on separate missions. While veteran Zimbabwean musician Oliver Mtukudzi was Kisumu, Cameroonian star Sam Fan Thomas was in Nairobi for the Koroga festival, that was held at the Arboretum yesterday.
