Nigerian singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo has responded to a fan who blasted his recent advert on television.
Timi was dragged by a fan on Twitter over his recent Sterling Bank advert. The fan wrote, “This Timi Dakolo Sterling debit card advert annoys the hell out of me. Irritates me.”
Timi who has revealed he’s not taking hateful comments from fans this year replied saying, “Stay there dey vex while i keep getting paid. Hate is a waste of emotion. #Hater.”
Recall that Timi recently received a master certificate in songwriting at the Berklee College of Music, Boston. Massachusetts dated June 29, 2015.
Meanwhile Timi Dakolo and other leading Nigerian vocalists Innocent ‘2baba’ Idibia, Waje and Patoranking have been announced as coaches for the maiden edition of the Airtel sponsored show, The Voice Nigeria.
