An Asaba, Delta-state, businessman Ogbueshi Patrick Osi has had his 16-year marriage dissolved after admitting that he impregnated six young girls.
In her testimony before an Asaba customary court on Tuesday, March 16, Patrick’s wife, Stalla, noted that she could no longer cope with her husband’s activities.
Dawntodusknews reports that the man allegedly impregnated two maids working in his private company and aborted the pregnancies. His wife said:“I have been patient enough; I have caught my husband with maids who worked for him and he slept with them and put them in family ways.
The man, who did not deny or accept the claims, noted through his counsel that the wife was taking instructions from her friend who wanted her out of the marriage.
Ibekwe Lawson who presided over the matter, granted the dissolution of the union on the grounds of irreconcilable differences and the man’s behaviour.
In another development, an Osogbo Customary court has dissolved the marriage between Kolapo Saheed and his wife, Rofiat Kolapo over the refusal of the man to have sex with his wife.
According to Daily Post, the woman reportedly told the court that she wanted out of the union because her husband had stopped having sexual intercourse with her.
The husband, on the other hand, denied the allegations of the wife, accusing her of being stubborn, troublesome and that she had never given him peace of mind in the house, adding that the woman failed to respect him.
