Veteran Yoruba actor, Arakangudu dies of heart attack

The Nigerian movie industry has been thrown into another round of mourning as a veteran actor, Sikiru Adesihina popularly known as Arakangudu has been reported dead.

According to reports, the versatile actor cum musician,  died yesterday, February 8, 2016 in Kaduna State, after suffering from heart attack.

His remains, will be moved to his home town in Osogbo, capital of Osun State, for burial today, we learnt.

The talented actor, who was known for his roles as herbalist and armed robber in many Yoruba flicks, at a point in his career went off the movie scene, to focus of Fuji music.

The baritone-voiced came back to the movie industry last year, playing a role in a movie titled Ayaba Oosa, which was written and produced by Yetunde Abubakry and directed by Okiki Afolayan.

Not long ago, another Nollywood actor, Dede One Day, who became popular for his ‘Laugh With Me’ work, passed on after battling with high blood pressure.
