Deputy governor of Niger State, Hon. Ahmed Musa Ibeto, and over 200 officials in the state left the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress today, Monday.
According to sources, Mr Ibeto decided to defect from the party that brought him into government after the state Governor, Aliyu Babangida of the PDP failed to help him emerge as the Governorship candidate of PDP in next month's election.
