Real Madrid's star, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly dumped Irina Shayk, after she refused to attend his mother’s 60th birthday party.
According to reports in a Portuguese newspaper, Coreio de Manhana, the Russian model told Ronaldo she will not attend the bash which was held in Madeira and the footballer promptly ended their five-year affair.
Irina has stopped following the Real Madrid star on Twitter, but her PR agency have refused to confirm the story.
“Cristiano wanted to surprise his mum and as he spent Christmas with Irina in Dubai, he had planned to be with his mum on her birthday, but Irina didn’t want to go,” a source told Coreio de Manhana.
“They had such a big row that he ended up spending New Years Eve alone with his son.
“Irina mouthed off about Dolores and Ronaldo took sides with him mum. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back because they had hadn’t been getting on well in the last few months.”
CR7 did well to give us a clue about this break up during the ballon d'or ceremony. He did not mention Irina when he was give the award but he did not forget to mention his mum and son.
