Nigeria First Lady, Patience Jonathan was excited after she got her national ID card. It was launched in August 2014.
President Goodluck Jonathan described the card as having multi-purpose functions when it was first launched.
“The card is not only a means of certifying your identity, but also a personal database repository and payment card, all in your pocket,” he said.
