After booking their ticket to the 2015 Fifa Women’s World by reaching the final, the Super Falcon team led by Edwin Okon are now the 2014 African women champions after defeating the aggressive cameroonian side.

2014 African Women Champions.
Nigeria’s young squad made African Women Championship history to claim the nation’s seventh continental crown (the highest in the tournament’s history).

First half strikes from the top striker Desire Oparanozie and Asisat Oshoala who was a delight to watch were enough to seal victory against a tough-tackling Les Lionnes at the scanty Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia.

Nigeria is also making history to be the first African country to be the champions of both men and woman CAF nations cup. I want to say a big congratulations to the ladies.
