Welbeck Off The Mark and Shines in Arsenal Win

Welbeck missed glorious chances against Man City and Dortmund in his first two Gunners outings but scored their second against Villa.

The former United man opened his Gunners account as the North London side ended Aston Villa's unbeaten start to the season.

Arsenal scored three times in 192 first half seconds to earn a 3-0 win at Villa Park which has propelled them into the top four.

Arsenal manager has praised new striker Danny Welbeck after the England striker scored his first goal for Arsenal.
He said: "He scored a similar goal to the one he scored in Switzerland [for England].
"I think he had a very good performance today because he kept the ball."
"Ball retention is important and he had a good all-round game for a central striker."
I expect to see more goals in the coming weeks since the first one is in the bag, unlike one Sanogo that is still running around the pitch like an headless chicken looking for goals.
