Yuguda said that his government is committed to provide water, light, roads, schools and health care services to the people of the state, particularly to those who are taking refuge in the state.

He assured them that his government will give them a sense of belonging and regretted how the current insecurity challenges in the country had displaced them from their houses.

Yuguda who attributed the current security challenges in the country to youth restiveness, said,
"The current insecurity experienced in most parts of the country is due to the high rate of unemployment and poverty in the country. If the government can provide enough jobs for our youths, the problem of insecurity will be addressed by eighty percent".
Yuguda reiterated the commitment of his government to assist the migrants with accommodation as the raining season was fast approaching, adding that the measure is to protect them from harsh weather and diseases.
"I urge you to enrol your children in schools to curb the menace of illiteracy because this is the root of insecurity in our country. With a good foundation of education for your children, they will be enlightened and nobody will be able to deceive them to engage in criminal activities".
Speaking on behalf of the refugees, Mallam Umar commended the state government's decision to host them, saying that the gesture has alleviated their sufferings as a result of the crises in Zamfara State. He assured the government that the people will be law abiding in the state.

He therefore solicited for the state government's assistance for the provision of grazing routes, water and other social amenities which he noted will improve the standard of the people taking refuge in the state.
