Rihanna Turns World Cup 2014 Analyst on Twitter

The World Cup, they say, turns everyone into football experts for four weeks and Rihanna is no exception.

The pop star must be taking in England's crunch Group D match against Uruguay because midway through the first half, she tweeted.

The question came before Luis Suarez nodded Uruguay into a first-half lead, but it was obviously a keen piece of insight.

Was she challenging England? Was she trolling them? Was she merely curious? Was she trying to grasp the finer details of Wayne Rooney's role in Roy Hodgson's 4-2-3-1 formation?

Either way, by the second half she had clearly spotted the flaw in England's plan as Suarez bagged a second.
She has a ready-made audience of almost 36 million followers. Nor is this the first time Rihanna's Twitter feed has been distracted from music and focused on the action in Brazil.
